A message from the owner…

When my mom was just 23 years old, she opened her first salon in East Setauket and named it Good Company.

She spent so many years of her life not only making women feel beautiful, but laughing with them, crying with them, praying for them, and showing up for some of the best and even hardest days of their lives.

Growing up, I always admired the loyalty, love, and respect between my mom and her clientele. Some of these women have been sitting in her chair since before I was born, and now, more than 40 years later, they still do. They still share stories, laughter, tears, and all of the life that happens in between.

Being a part of this industry is so much more than being a hairstylist. It’s about people. It’s about relationships. It’s about being trusted to be a small part of someone’s life, year after year.

I’ve been so blessed to work alongside so many incredible women and watch our team and clientele grow over the years. As we enter this next chapter, I knew it was time to pay homage to the woman who inspired me from the very beginning, back when I was just a little girl playing with rollers in the back room of her salon.

She pushed me and believed in me before I fully believed in myself. And most importantly, she taught me that this industry was never just about what it could do for us, it was about what we could do for other people.

A lifetime of memories in the salon has somehow brought us right back to where it all began and I couldn’t be more proud to carry the name forward.
